Fort Lauderdale is a modern, attractive city located on the southeast coast of Florida.  Because of its extensive canal system, the city is sometimes called "Venice of America".

Fort Lauderdale has a pleasant subtropical climate with lush vegetation and beautiful beaches.  These attributes help make it one of America's most popular vacation destinations.

Many "snowbirds" flock to the city in winter to escape the snow and cold up north.  Others come to Fort Lauderdale to board a luxury cruise liner.
